Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in K-12 programs. You will work closely with a student on IEP goals, providing accommodations and implementing behavior support strategies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP.
• Develop and modify behavior support plans.
• Record and track data on behaviors, progress, and incidents.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis management when needed.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
