Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavior Support Specialist to support adults with autism in Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware counties. This Independent Contractor role focuses on Functional Behavioral Assessments and Positive Behavior Support Plans to reduce challenging behavior and teach replacement skills.

Salary ranges from $35.00 to $45.00 per hour with flexible hours. Prior licensure or certification is preferred; a valid license and vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or Applied Behavior Analysis.
• At least one year of experience developing and implementing FBAs and PBSPs.
• Applied Behavioral Analysis experience required.
• Licensed Behavior Specialist or Board Certified Behavior Analyst preferred.
• Completion of Bureau of Autism Services FBA training preferred but not required.
• License and vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments.
• Collaborate with the individual served and team members to develop and implement a Positive Behavior Support Plan.
• Provide ongoing assessment, program design, monitoring of interventions and data collection, and direct therapy.
