Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with individualized education plans.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement behavior support plans, track progress, and help students develop essential life skills. You will provide one-on-one support, communicate with parents, and assist in de-escalation techniques while maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support students one-on-one per their IEP goals and provide accommodations as needed.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record data on progress and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
