Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs under an IEP. You will work within in-district classrooms or standalone schools, providing customized behavior support and helping students develop essential life skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Experience in educational settings with behavioral interventions preferred.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals set forth in the IEP.
Assist in the development and modification of behavior support plans.
Implement behavior support plans; record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
Implement de-escalation techniques, crisis management as needed to ensure safety.
Foster a positive, inclusive environment and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
