Job summary

Excentia-Human-Services- is seeking a Behavior Support Assistant to work under the supervision of the Behavior Specialist. You will assist in monitoring behavior, data collection, and evaluation to support individuals and families.

You will train staff and caregivers on behavior plans, participate in FBA processes, and contribute to plan development while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field.
• 1+ years of experience with autism and intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Experience with functional behavior assessments and data collection.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and positive behavior support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in behavior monitoring, data collection and evaluation.
• Participate in ISP meetings and plan development.
• Train caregivers on behavior support plans and provide coaching.
• Prepare activities and visual aids used in behavior support plans.
