Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college.
• Knowledge of FERPA and Use of Force Policy (preferred).
• Knows and understands Behavior Services policies and procedures.
• Knows and understands the program's behavior management system (preferred).
• Knows and understands verbal intervention/de-escalation techniques.
• Knows and understands Crisis Prevention Intervention procedures (preferred).
• Knows and understands crisis management procedures.
• Knows and understands how to document interventions using state/district forms (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Records behavioral and all pertinent data in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
• Reviews data regularly and notifies supervisor of relevant information.
• Leads FBA interviews.
• Implements and supports the program's behavior management system.
• Supports teaching staff in curriculum implementation.
• Implements positive programming to increase student behavior and academics.
• Participates in crisis management as directed.
• Develops staff training materials.
• Uses PowerSchool, SWIS, and other software as needed.
• Supports after-school program.
• Provides behavior support for off-ground activities.
