Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with behavior management or educational support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist students by implementing behavioral intervention plans under certified staff.
• Observe and document student behaviors for the intervention team.
• Use de-escalation techniques to maintain a calm classroom environment.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group behavioral guidance.
• Support academic subjects as directed by the teacher or intervention team.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure consistent student support.
• Monitor and document students' progress and assist with reporting.
• Participate in ongoing training and crisis management requirements.
• Adhere to all CREC policies and procedures.
