Chester County School District is seeking a Paraprofessional/Teaching Interventionist to assist teachers with classroom and behavioral supports. The role focuses on supporting students’ academic and behavioral success, including remediation for disciplinary issues.

Responsibilities include developing behavior plans, collecting progress data, and presenting professional development on intervention strategies. Collaboration with families and staff is essential to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma/ GED or Bachelor's Degree or higher in education.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of various methods of data collection and interpretation for data to drive behavioral interventions.
• Ability to conduct and interpret functional behavioral assessments for behavior intervention plans.
• Ability to maintain proactive partnerships with students, families, and the school community.

Responsabilités

• Assist teachers in providing classroom and behavioral supports as per educational plans.
• Develop and implement behavior and intervention plans with appropriate resources.
• Collect data on student behaviors and suggest instructional modifications.
• Support students with self-esteem, decision-making, and social skills development.
• Collaborate with staff to facilitate transitions back to home schools and create Transition Plans.
