The position reports to the Teacher/Principal and requires at least 60 college hours or an equivalent degree, with a starting date

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 year college degree in any area, or 60 hours of college work, or passing score on the Paraprofessional exam is required.
Strong basic math, grammar, punctuation, and ability to follow complex instructions.
Ability to operate standard office equipment and software applications.

Responsibilities

Assist students individually or in small groups with lesson assignments.
Implement instructional programs under supervision to improve student outcomes.
Maintain classroom materials, attendance, and files to ensure information is accurate.
Monitor students in various settings to maintain a safe learning environment.
Perform clerical tasks such as copying, grading, and record-keeping.
