Job summary

Washington Elementary School District is seeking a paraprofessional monitor to support the school behavior team. You will assist with student intervention, supervision, and data entry, and help implement systems in place to support Tier 3 students.

You will collaborate with administrators, teachers, and families, help maintain PBIS initiatives, and participate in school-wide mentoring programs. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may include additional paraprofessional

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required prior to hire.
• 60 college credit hours or an Associate's degree preferred.
• Arizona paraprofessional test may be required or offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist school behavior team with student intervention and supervision.
• Enter data and maintain behavioral data systems for staff review.
• Support Tier 3 level students and related programs.
• Participate in mentoring programs and school-wide initiatives.
• Collaborate with district and school committees (PBIS, Climate, etc.).
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
