Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms. You will work closely with a student, implementing IEP goals and behavior plans under supervision.

You will participate in data collection, use PBIS strategies, and collaborate with teachers and specialists to ensure holistic student support. This role pays hourly wages and benefits as part of SESI’s education services program.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing behavioral interventions in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to work one-on-one with students to meet IEP goals.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record data on behaviors and progress.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
