Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a behavior aide to work with small groups of students in in-district classrooms and standalone schools across our national network.

You will support teachers with customized behavioral and academic interventions, monitor progress, and reinforce learning using SESI’s CASE framework. Requirements include a high school diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred) and prior experience with students with special needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead small group instruction and implement the SESI model.
• Collaborate with the teacher to provide customized behavior and academic support.
• Monitor student behavior and track progress using data.
• Assist with large group activities, grading, and transitioning between tasks.
• Document and monitor student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis management when必要.
• Supervise students during school transitions and collaborate with other staff.
