Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in K-12 settings. Work one-on-one under IEP guidance, help implement behavior plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster safe, inclusive learning experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in educational setting with behavioral interventions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student per IEP, providing accommodations as needed.
• Assist in developing and modifying behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record progress and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques when needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as required by student needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
