The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit (MCIU) seeks a Behavior Analyst to support the Office of Student Services in developing behavior management programs for students with diverse needs. The role collaborates with classroom staff and the program supervisor to implement data-driven strategies.
Responsibilities include observing students, developing data collection methods, revising IEPs when needed, and guiding staff in behavior modification. Travel across Montgomery County is required.
A vacancy exists for Behavior Analyst to work within the Office of Student Services at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit! The Behavior Analyst develops behavior management programs for students with classroom staff and the program supervisor that meet the needs of students from various backgrounds, including students who have experienced school failure, students identified as in need of special education and students with severe behavioral and emotional challenges.

Monday – Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 10 months (194 days/year)
Bachelor’s, Step 2: $53,997/year
Master’s, Step 2: $65,007/year
*Placement on salary schedule based on experience and/or education beyond the Master’s Degree.
