Job summary

The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) seeks three passionate Behavior Analysts Consultants (BCBAs) to join our growing team. You will conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), develop PBSPs, and train staff across school settings.

This role supports Chester County School Districts for the 2026/27 school year. The salary range is $77,987 to $97,483 annually, based on experience, with 260 days, 12 months. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required.
• Current BCBA certification through the BACB required.
• 2 years experience in educational or community settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop PBSPs.
• Write programs to address skill deficits and routines.
• Train staff on FBAs and PBSPs.
• Evaluate PBSP implementation through observation and data review.
• Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure service delivery.
• Train and support staff in behavior strategies and data collection.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs).
• Write programs for students to assist in: (Teaching skill deficits,Maintaining acquired skills, Teaching self-help and coping skills , Building capacity and developing effective routines to address school avoidance behaviors)?
• Train staff on FBAs and PBSPs.
• Systematically evaluate the consistent implementation of PBSPs through: (Personal observation, Staff and parent/caregiver consultation, Progress monitoring of student attendance data)
• Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, families, and educational teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
• Train and support staff in implementing behavior strategies and data collection.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required.
• Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required.
• 2 years experience working in educational or community-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
