Job summary

The Chester County Intermediate Unit seeks three passionate Behavior Analysts Consultants (BCBA) to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. They will conduct FBAs, develop PBSPs, and provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, families, and educational teams.

• 2 years of experience in educational or community settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized PBSPs.
• Write programs for students to address teaching skill deficits, maintenance of skills, and routines to address school avoidance behaviors.
• Train staff on FBAs and PBSPs and PBSPs; monitor PBSP implementation.
• Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, families, and educational teams; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs).
• Write programs for students to assist in: (Teaching skill deficits,Maintaining acquired skills, Teaching self-help and coping skills , Building capacity and developing effective routines to address school avoidance behaviors)?
• Train staff on FBAs and PBSPs.
• Systematically evaluate the consistent implementation of PBSPs through: (Personal observation, Staff and parent/caregiver consultation, Progress monitoring of student attendance data)
• Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, families, and educational teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
• Train and support staff in implementing behavior strategies and data collection.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required.
• Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required.
• 2 years experience working in educational or community-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
