Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs under an IEP.

You will work one-on-one with students, implement behavior plans, track progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and success in school settings. This position offers paid training, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with behavioral interventions in educational settings preferred.
• Ability to work one-on-one with students and implement IEP goals.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned student one-on-one to meet IEP goals with accommodations.
• Develop and modify behavior support plans and track progress.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and assist in crisis management as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement behavior plans.
• Communicate with parents about student progress.
• Supervise students and ensure safe transitions between locations.
