Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in a K-12 setting in Stockton, California.

In this role, you will work one-on-one with assigned students, implement and modify behavior support plans, and collect data to monitor progress. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and communicate with families to foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience working in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP, providing accommodations and modifications as necessary.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate effectively with parents.
