Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is hiring a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs. You will work one-on-one with students, implement and modify behavior plans, and document progress under IEP goals.

Join a multidisciplinary team, participate in data-driven PBIS-based instruction, and contribute to a positive learning environment while supporting families and school staff. California-based role with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience with intensive behavioral needs preferred.
• Valid driver''s license required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals with accommodations.
• Develop and modify behavior support plans.
• Record and track data on behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Apply behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Provide personal care support per student needs and monitor safety.
• Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
