Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs within in-district classrooms or standalone schools.

You will work one-on-one to implement IEP goals, provide accommodations, and help develop behavior support plans. The role focuses on data-driven behavioral interventions, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for diverse students.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP, providing accommodations and modifications as necessary.
• Develop and modify behavior support plans and implement them.
• Record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
