Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking a Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing the child care program. The role emphasizes safety, community relations, and high-quality programming for students before and after school.

You will supervise students, communicate with parents and staff, ensure licensing compliance, and contribute to enrichment activities and field trips.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate ability to work with children.
• Experience: 3+ months in care/supervision of four or more children.
• Annual training: 15 clock hours required.
• Current CPR/First Aid or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Knowledge of childcare basics.
• Leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows Colorado licensing requirements daily.
• Supervises students during program times.
• Communicates with parents, students, staff and district personnel.
• Maintains safe conditions for all students and staff.
• Markets the program for before/after care and full days.
• Attends professional development trainings as required.
• Assists with lesson plans and daily activities.
• Maintains equipment storage and repair.
• Contributes ideas for enrichment and program quality.
• Creates activities and field trips for full-day programming.
• Attends monthly staff meetings as required.
• Performs other duties as requested.
