Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking a Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing the child care program. You will develop and promote good community relations among school and district clientele and help prepare quality programming.

This role emphasizes supervision of students, adherence to licensing requirements, and collaboration with staff to deliver engaging activities.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• The leader must be age 18 or over.
• One of the following qualifications: 3 months (455 hours) of verified childcare supervision experience or a Level I credential (version 3.0).
• Each year, 15 clock hours of training are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the program director to plan and implement the child care program.
• Develops and promotes good community relations among school and district clientele.
• Assists director to prepare and implement quality programming.
• Follows Colorado licensing requirements and supervises students during program times.
• Communicates effectively with parents, staff, and community members.
• Assists with lesson plans, field trips, and program enrichment activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
