Cherry Creek is seeking a dedicated Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing the child care program. The role focuses on promoting positive community relations, ensuring quality programming, and supporting daily operations in a school-based setting.

The person will work closely with staff, parents, and district personnel to deliver engaging activities and maintain safe, structured environments for children across before- and after-school periods.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to develop and utilize appropriate discipline procedures.
• Some leadership and management skill.
• Knowledge of most aspects of childcare.
• Ability to work effectively with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Follows and enforces licensing requirements.
• Supervises and engages with students daily.
• Maintains safety for students and staff.
• Promotes and markets the program to families and schools.
• Attends professional development trainings.
• Assists with lesson plans and program activities.
• Assists with equipment maintenance and storage.
• Contributes ideas for enrichment activities and field trips.
• Plans activities and field trips for full-day programs.
• Attends monthly program staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
