Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking a Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and delivering quality after-school care. The role emphasizes child supervision, safety, and strong communication with families and school staff.

You will help develop and implement engaging activities, coordinate field trips, and support professional development to ensure a high standard of care across programs.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Must be age 18 or over.
• Experience caring for children or supervising multiple children.
• Must meet one of the listed qualifications.
• Annual minimum of 15 clock hours of training.

Responsibilities

• Follows and enforces Colorado licensing requirements.
• Supervises and engages with students during program hours.
• Communicates effectively with parents, students, staff and district.
• Maintains safe conditions for all participants.
• Promotes and markets the before/after school program.
• Participates in required professional development trainings.
• Assists in implementing quality lesson plans daily/weekly.
• Assists with equipment maintenance and storage.
• Contributes ideas for enrichment activities and field trips.
• Attends monthly staff meetings and performs other duties as requested.
