Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring Early Childhood Learning Staff for our Before and After School Program at Healthy Kids Programs Early Learning Center for the 2026–2027 school year. The position is part-time, non-exempt, with hours from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm on alternating shifts in Kendall, NY.

Compensation is $16.00–$17.00 per hour, with employer-paid childcare and a suite of benefits including telehealth, vision, dental, AFLAC, 401(k), and paid sick time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or at least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, per state regulations.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to facilitate hands‑on activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and families through the Playground App.
• Cultivate positive adult‑child interactions using the CLASS method.
• Support health, welfare, and safety following ECERS/ITERS standards and protocols.
