Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Program at Glenham Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

The role supports children ages 5–12 with engaging activities, homework help, and supervision during the school day calendar. Morning shifts from 7:00 to 8:30 am, part-time, non-exempt, with employer-paid childcare and other benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or at least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, per state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
