Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for our Before and After School Program at Kendall Elementary School in Kendall, NY for the 2026–2027 school year.

The position is part-time and non-exempt, with an hourly pay of $17.00 and schedules that follow the school calendar. Morning and afternoon sessions run 7:00 AM–8:45 AM and 3:30 PM–6:00 PM, with opportunities to work morning, afternoon, or both.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in relevant field plus 2 years' experience with children under 13, including supervisory experience.
• Two years of college with 18 related credits plus 2 years' experience with children under 13, incl. 1 year supervisory.
• NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent plus 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff and program operations meet state regs and host school requirements.
• Plan and lead engaging, hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support.
• Oversee daily operational tasks such as accurate attendance and registration tracking, scheduling, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and caregivers using the Playground App.
• Communicate regularly with your direct report to share updates, address concerns, and support a positive team environment.
