Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Program at Kendall Elementary School in Kendall, NY. The role runs during the 2026–2027 school year, with morning and afternoon hours that align to the school calendar.

This part-time, non-exempt position emphasizes caregiving, positive guidance, and teamwork to support children aged 5–12. Employer-paid childcare and other benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, or at least 1 year of child care experience.
• Healthy Kids Programs requires health clearance, including TB screening.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and actively engage with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academics and art.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model.
• Observe program and school policies and support operations such as attendance and staffing.
