Zusammenfassung

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking School-Age Childcare Assistants for our Before and After School Programs in Westchester, NY for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, non-exempt role offers an $17.00 per hour pay rate and follows the local school calendar.

Morning and/or afternoon shifts are available, aligning with school hours. The position emphasizes helping children learn through play, staying energetic and reliable, and working well with teams and families.

Qualifikationen

• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma.
• 1 year of experience with kids under 13 preferred.
• Health clearance including TB screening.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Aufgaben

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, arts, homework).
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and serve as a positive role model.
• Observe state guidelines and program policies.
• Support program operations, attendance, registration, and staffing tasks.
