Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for Kendall Elementary School in Kendall, NY for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, non-exempt role coordinates before- and after-school programs, ensures compliance with policies, and partners with families and school staff.

The position follows the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon shifts; pay is $17.00 per hour, with employer-paid childcare and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus 2 years of experience with children under 13, including supervisory experience.
• Two years of college with 18 credits plus 2 years of experience with children under 13, including supervisory experience.
• NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent plus 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff and program operations meet state regulations and host school requirements.
• Plan and lead engaging activities aligned with the curriculum (fitness, STEAM, arts, homework support).
• Oversee daily attendance, registration tracking, scheduling, and staffing levels.
• Maintain clear communication with parents using the Playground App.
• Collaborate with your supervisor to maintain high-quality care and staff morale.
