Supervise & Engage Children – Provide continuous supervision, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for all participants.
Support the Site Director & Group Supervisor – Assist in implementing daily activities, games, and structured learning opportunities.
Encourage Growth & Development – Foster positive behavior, teamwork, and social-emotional skills through engaging interactions.
Assist with Curriculum & Activities – Help design and facilitate age-appropriate lessons and play-based learning experiences.
Promote YMCA Values – Create an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring all children feel valued, supported, and encouraged.
Stay Informed & Trained – Attend all mandatory training sessions before and during the school year to stay up-to-date on best practices.
Be a Team Player – Assist with daily program operations, step in when needed, and take on additional responsibilities to ensure a seamless and high-quality experience for all participants.

Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services field.
Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university, including at least 15 credits in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services field, and one year of experience working with children.
At least 30 college credits from an accredited college or university, including at least 15 credits in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services field, and two years of experience working with children.
At least 2,500 hours of documented experience working with children in a licensed child care program, nursery school, or similar setting.
