Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a team member for its meat/seafood department to provide excellent guest service and drive sales. You will greet guests, assist with knife-ready product preparation, and participate in receiving and merchandising to keep shelves stocked and appealing.

You will help ensure product safety, freshness, and correct pricing while following company standards. This role involves lifting and standing for extended periods in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and selling skills.
• Ability to interact with guests and sell products.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests warmly and creates a selling atmosphere in the meat/seafood department.
• Prepares knife-ready meats: cut, slice, trim, wrap, weigh, and price per Lowes Foods standards.
• Assists with product receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood in sales areas.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
• Ensures products are fresh and in-date; communicates shrink issues to management.
• Communicates guest requests/concerns to management.
• Makers PA announcements for sales and promotions in the meat/seafood department.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
