Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a meat/seafood department team member to provide excellent guest service and merchandise products effectively. You will greet guests, help with product selection, and maintain presentation standards across fresh meat and seafood.

The role requires handling knife-ready products, working in a cold environment, and supporting receiving and stock duties. 18+ years old; physical stamina is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess good interpersonal and selling skills with an outgoing personality.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests warmly and engages in selling interactions in the department.
• Prepares knife-ready meat/seafood products for sale (cut, slice, trim, wrap, weigh, price).
• Assists in receiving, inventory, and storage of products.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen items, prepared meats, and meat/seafood.
• Maintains safety and sanitation in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
• Ensures products are current and of high quality for sale.
• Communicates shrink issues to management and guest requests to staff.
• Makes PA announcements for meat/seafood promotions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintains guest service standards throughout the department.
