Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a part-time Meat/Seafood Department Associate to provide excellent guest service and maintain high standards in product preparation and sales areas.

You will greet guests, help create a selling environment, and ensure products are properly priced, rotated, and fresh. This role requires teamwork, the ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally, and the ability to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests in the meat/seafood department.
• Prepares knife-ready products for sale (cut, slice, trim, wrap, weigh, and price) according to standards.
• Assists in product receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood in sales areas.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards in all areas that come in contact with meat/seafood and prep areas.
• Ensures all products are in date and of high quality and freshness.
• Communicates shrink issues to management and guest requests/concerns to management.
• Makes PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the department.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
