Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a friendly Meat & Seafood Department Team Member to provide excellent guest service, assist guests with product selections, and support merchandising programs to boost sales.

You will greet guests, prepare knife-ready products, rotate stock, maintain safety and cleanliness, and communicate guest needs and promotions to management. This on-site role requires lifting, standing, and working in a cool environment.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and selling skills with an outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others and interact with guests.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs continually.
• Able to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work in a cold environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and create a selling environment.
• Prepare knife-ready meat products (cut, slice, wrap, weigh, price).
• Assist in receiving, inventory and storage.
• Price, stock, and rotate frozen items and fresh meat/seafood.
• Maintain safety and sanitation in prep areas and sales floor.
• Maintain product quality and freshness; ensure in-date items.
• Communicate shrink issues to management.
• Relay guest requests/concerns to management.
• Make PA announcements for meat/seafood promotions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
