Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Meat/Seafood Department associate to provide excellent guest service and merchandise products. You will greet guests, aid in meat/seafood preparation, pricing, stocking, and ensure freshness and safety across prep areas and displays.

Responsibilities include handling knife-ready products, assisting with receiving and inventory, communicating guest requests, and making department PA announcements. Must be 18+ with strong selling and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and selling skills with an outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others and interact with guests.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests in the meat/seafood department.
• Prepare knife-ready products for sale (cut, slice, trim, wrap, weigh, and price) according to standards.
• Assist in product receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Price, stock, and rotate frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood in sales areas.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in all meat/seafood prep and display areas.
• Ensure products are in date and of high quality and freshness.
• Communicate shrink issues to management.
• Report guest requests/concerns to management.
• Make PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
