Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is hiring for a meat and seafood department associate to provide excellent guest service and drive sales through effective selling and merchandising.

You will greet guests, prepare knife-ready products, assist with receiving and inventory, and maintain safety, sanitation, and product quality in cold environments.

Weekly pay and benefits including medical, dental, and vision are provided as part of the employment package.

Qualifications

• Must possess good interpersonal skills with guests.
• Ability to sell and interact with guests.
• Strong selling skills to enhance guest interaction.
• Ability to work well with others and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and create a selling environment in the department.
• Prepare knife-ready meat/seafood products per standards.
• Assist in product receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Price, stock, and rotate meat/seafood items.
• Maintain safety and sanitation in prep areas, coolers, and sales floor.
• Ensure products are in date and of high quality.
• Communicate shrink issues to management and guest requests.
• Make PA announcements for sale items and promotions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
