Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Bed Control/Transfer Center Registered Nurse (BCTC RN) to coordinate and assign all beds and to evaluate and document patient transfers into PAH. The RN will collaborate with emergency, inpatient units, and physicians to ensure optimal patient flow and bed placement, using problem solving and customer service skills.

The role requires a BSN, 3–5 years RN experience in acute care, EPIC EMR proficiency, GA licensure, and BCLS certification; leadership

Qualificações

• BSN is required.
• 3–5 years RN experience in acute care is required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
• Charge nurse or higher leadership experience is preferred.
• GA state RN licensure and BCLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and assign beds at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
• Evaluate, coordinate, process and document patient transfers into PAH.
• Collaborate with ED, inpatient units and other departments to facilitate patient flow.
• Assess patients for appropriate level of immediate care and bed placement.
• Use problem solving and customer service to determine best course of action.
