Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Bed Access Nurse Manager for the Boston Main Campus of Brigham and Women’s Hospital to oversee patient transfers, triage, and bed management. The role focuses on coordinating and optimizing all incoming transfers to ensure timely, safe patient care and collaboration with the care team.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of nursing experience, a Massachusetts RN license, and a strong ability to work cross-functionally to support patient throughput and discharge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Massachusetts RN license required.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience required; ED/ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Elicits patient information from referring providers to triage and place patients.
• Coordinates transfers and referrals to optimize patient flow and reduce delays.
• Acts as liaison to ensure continuity of care for patient and family and supports financial navigator.
