Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Experience Manager to lead a high‑performing team delivering top‑line sales growth in retail and services. The role focuses on guest experience, services, boutiques, and makeup/service sales, with accountability for NPS and guest satisfaction.

The EM will develop personnel, maintain store standards, and ensure exceptional guest service while driving profitability and adherence to company policies across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Cosmetology license and/or a cosmetology management license where required by state law.
• 2–3+ years relevant, fast-paced retail management work experience.
• Financial management: driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expense.
• Cosmetology management: advanced competency in services, guest experience, and product attachment; knowledge of Board of Cosmetology regulations and hiring requirements.
• Retail management: monitoring inventory levels, achieving operational excellence, driving a service culture, and executing merchandise directives.
• Leadership management: attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, adapting to change, and leading others.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of accountability to meet store goals for services, boutiques, and retail sales.
• Drive profitability through top-line sales growth and expense control.
• Support staffing and scheduling to maximize productivity within payroll budgets.
• Address underperforming metrics and develop strategies to improve sales and service.
• Lead makeup services, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive guest experience.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and ingredients to better serve guests.
• Ensure adherence to attendance policies and professional standards.
