Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and service at a branded beauty counter, delivering personalized makeup and skincare experiences while driving counter performance. This role balances hands-on selling, coaching, and vendor collaboration to grow customer relationships both in-store and digitally. The manager also oversees scheduling, events, and day-to-day counter operations to ensure a customer-ready environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product recommendations tailored to customer needs
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions and build strong vendor relationships
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and enroll customers in rewards programs
• Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and presentation

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, trends, makeup application, skincare knowledge, and selling in a commissioned environment
• Excellent ability to connect with customers, handle concerns empathetically, and contribute to a positive team environment
• Strong multitasking, organization, communication, and follow-through skills
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours and lift items up to 25 pounds
