Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking an Assistant Beauty Manager in Edison, NJ to drive sales through directive selling, build strong customer relationships, and support the Department Manager in achieving targets. You will coach staff, serve as a fashion knowledge expert, and ensure merchandising standards and inventory accuracy across the department.

The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer experience while managing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment and leveraging product knowledge

Qualifications

• Track record of achieving sales productivity and personal trade.

Responsibilities

• Use directive selling to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Build personal trade by developing relationships with customers.
• Assist Department Manager in achieving department goals with a business plan.
• Coach salespeople to meet Sell More, Make More goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Act as fashion role model and product knowledge expert for the customer.
• Collaborate with Department Manager to maintain merchandising standards and inventory.
