Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, A Hilton Resort & Spa, seeks a dedicated Steward to support our culinary team by washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment in a fast-paced, oceanfront kitchen. You’ll help maintain cleanliness and organization and assist with food prep as needed.

We value detail-oriented individuals who can lift 25+ pounds, work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and contribute to a smooth workflow while upholding food safety standards in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Steward or in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand for long periods.
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Support the culinary team by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area.
• Assist with food preparation and plating as needed.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food and supplies.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Display a positive and energetic attitude in a fast-paced environment.
