Job summary

Avocet Hospitality Group on Folly Beach is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to warmly greet guests, assist with check-ins/outs, and answer questions at the front desk. In this role you’ll promote hotel amenities, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, handle payments, answer phones, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and team-player mindset.
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable using computers, phones, and office equipment.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Hotel or customer service experience is a plus.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a positive and professional attitude
• Check guests in and out quickly and accurately
• Handle reservations, room requests, and guest questions
• Promote hotel amenities, services, and upgrades
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready
