Job summary

Avocet Hospitality Group on Folly Beach is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to warmly greet guests, assist with check-ins/outs, and answer questions at the front desk. In this role you’ll promote hotel amenities, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, handle payments, answer phones, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment while upholding safety standards.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Hotel or customer service experience is a plus.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

We’re looking for a friendly, energetic, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team! As one of the first and last people our guests interact with, you’ll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.

In this role, you’ll help create a great guest experience from the moment they arrive, providing warm and professional service while assisting with check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations, guest questions, and day‑to‑day front desk needs.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, stays calm in a fast‑paced environment, and takes pride in making guests feel welcome. If you’re someone who is naturally friendly, organized, and ready to go the extra mile for our guests, we’d love to meet you!

Salary: $18.00 per hour
