Job summary

Avocet Folly Beach is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member to assist hotel guests with complimentary beach chair rentals. You will help with guest check-in and check-out, manage inventory, and maintain beach equipment.

No experience required; we value reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work outdoors in sun. This role involves standing, walking, and interacting with guests throughout shifts, with opportunities for internal growth.

Qualifications

• No experience required; customer service/hospitality a plus.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and work outdoors in sun/heat.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and interacting with guests throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Guest check-in and check-out for beach chair rentals.
• Inventory tracking of beach chair inventory.
