Job summary

UpKeep is hiring a Manager, Business Development to lead a team of BDRs driving outbound prospecting across SMB to enterprise accounts, including expanding existing customers. You will coach, set quota, and optimize the model using AI-enabled tools, with a hybrid presence in our Los Angeles office three days a week.

You’ll report to the SVP, Sales and partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure well-qualified meetings and strong ASP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience a plus.
• 4+ years of experience supervising and managing a sales development team.
• Extensive outbound prospecting and lead generation experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Experience hiring, onboarding, and developing sales talent, including managing performance.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Experience with Outreach, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, train, and develop BDRs with ramp plans and ongoing coaching.
• Own the team's quota and operating rhythm with clear expectations and reviews.
• Coach through call reviews, role-play, and live prospecting support to uncover business needs.
