Group 1 Ford of Southwest Houston is seeking a high-energy Business Development Representative (BDC Agent) to be the voice of our sales department. You will handle inbound calls, internet leads, texts, video messages, and appointment scheduling to convert inquiries into showroom visits.

No prior experience is necessary—we are happy to train the right person with a strong attitude and customer-first mindset, including some evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of BDC or inside sales experience preferred; training available.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable creating personalized video responses.
• Proficient with CRM systems, email, and text messaging.
• Highly organized with excellent follow-up and multitasking.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer all inbound sales calls promptly and schedule appointments.
• Follow up on internet leads and showroom traffic.
• Respond to internet leads by phone, text, and email within 5 minutes.
• Complete CRM tasks daily to keep lead activity accurate.
• Create and send personalized videos for new leads and confirmations.
• Meet performance standards: 95%+ answer rate, quick callbacks.
• Convert inquiries into confirmed showroom appointments.
