Job summary

Planet Honda in Union, New Jersey, is hiring a BDC Retention Specialist to manage customer relationships and retention efforts throughout the vehicle lifecycle. You will support the sales process, follow up with customers, and identify opportunities for upgrades, trades, and leases while maintaining up-to-date CRM records.

The role requires a positive, professional attitude, strong communication skills, and prior dealer BDC or retention experience.

Qualifications

• Prior Dealership BDC or customer retention experience highly preferred.
• Positive, outgoing, and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout the vehicle buying process.
• Build strong relationships through excellent customer service.
• Deliver a VIP customer experience from Service to Sales.
• Follow up with customers before and after the sale.
• Identify upgrade, trade-in, and lease renewal opportunities.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and sales leads.
• Maintain knowledge of vehicles and dealership services.
• Generate repeat business through strong customer relationships.
• Meet individual and team sales goals.
• Support customer retention and long-term satisfaction.
