Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of MANET and MN-MIMO radios and a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USMC needs and emerging trends.

You will support Marine Corps acquisition stakeholders, demonstrate interoperability, and oversee field trials in expeditionary environments, with travel up to 50% and a flexible remote option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related C5ISR field and 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, and tactical communication systems.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC operational priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan networks, configure field trials, and support live testing and evaluations.
• Collaborate to validate architectures and support BD with technical input.
• Engage with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval centers.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs and track progress.
